    Cycle changes when sick?

Usually when i get sick, i take a few days off lifting just so my body will have enough time to recover properly, but I am 4 weeks in to my cycle now, should I still take time off or work through it?

Your workouts during a cycle are usually short and intense, maybe one bodypart a day or so, your not exactly doing hardcore cardio and two weight sessions a day, so i say keep training but double up your recovery in the off time by taking it easy, taking your vitamin c and sleep a little longer maybe? As long as you take your nighttime support so you dont lose muscle while you sleep.

This is both a very good and unanswerable question. To wit,

If you are taking long-acting stuff and are sick for 3 days, you can't take a break.

If you have a cold that's one thing. If you have the flu that's another. There are lots of diseases, durations, severities, etc.

I realize that's not an answer, so what I do when I have a cold is gut through it. Anything stronger and I'll probably put my cycle on hold and take care of health first.

I appreciate the speedy answers guys, I took the day off work then I'm going to hit the docs to get some antibiotics. Then a little chest day at the gym (favorite day!!)

As long as you're not having a fever its fine...get in there and get out ...focus on on you fluids and nutrition.
