    Need Help, Serious Health Issue

Whats up broz, my boy wants to start taking AAS. He had a heart procedure about a year ago that replaced a valve on his heart. It was result of using drugs, (not our kind). Anyhow the kid is a natural athlete and has been lifting since HS. He kicked his drug habit and moved back home. I work out with him everyday now, always making sure he's not slipping back to his old habits. He's 29 now. Obviously my first reaction when I heard he wanted to start juicing was "no way bro!!". But then I got to thinking what if he used an oral steroid like Dbol, Var, or Winstrol. Hate to dissapoint my friend cause he really wants to be "on" so I ask all of you experts especially those familiar with the medical ramifications is there any safe (safe enough for his situation) cycle he can run? Thanks broz

I feel that the one organ that is most affected by AAS is the heart. If I were him I wouldnt even consider using AAS. If his problem was bad enough before that he had to have surgery, I would bet that other parts of his heart were damaged somewhat too. The risk for him is way to high, the benefits wont outweigh those risks. Try your best to discourage him.

my friends been through a lot and needs a confidence booster thus the reason why he wants to do some juice. All you guys know how annoying it is to train with someone who is "on" (me) and your lifting natural. He is not stupid and is aware that for the rest of his life he needs to tone it down.

Any other opinions on this? Couldn't he do some var?

    Here's an option: http://www.roidstore.com/

Tell him to stay away from serious AAS...I wouldn't take the risk with a pre-existing heart condition.
If he's so stubborn that he doesn't value his life, then I don't know what to tell you.
If he feels he needs juice to boost his confidence, then perhaps he has an emotional disorder and should consult a professional.

Thanks for the link to the doctor as I believe that is a great idea. Having bloodwork along with the advice of an MD would certainly solildify a smart decision for my friend. (and I ultimatley don't want to make it for him)

Your second point about his confidence, come on bro, everybody feels better when there on juice. It's not as if he needs to be on roids or he will have a mental breakdown. He's one of my best friends and he watches me take juice. We lift together everyday. Do I need counsuling because I take juice? This is sort of like a hobby to me. I'm just exploring the options for him as he's not too familiar with AAS's. All I can do is gather all the information I can and pass it along to him.

I appreciate the feedback though, please keep it coming...

Well, whatever choice he makes for himself, I hope he does so under a doctors' supervision.

I feel alot worse when im on juice... in so many ways.. the added horniness is in a way cool.. but other than that I feel so much worse.. the strenght is a nice mental booster but when off gym i feel like crap.. 500mg of test a week is prolly great but about 1 G of anabolics a week and I feel generally a lot worse than off gear.

Worse huh.. interesting, don't often hear that.

I believe it feels better then recreational drugs.. seriously though i just have a great sense of well being and feel like i can walk through walls.. I'd take deca/sustanon cycle over an 8-ball anyday! lol

btw: i talked to my boy and he is going to the doc to see whats up. not like theirs a prayer in hell the doctor will tell him he would be able to do some juice but at least it will bring closure to subject.

it prolly wont.. most docs will just say that he cant.. he should talk to a cardiologist who is not against juice just because of the principle.. I probably can give better answer to u than most normal doctors (i will work as one the comming summer, not to claim that I know everything) .. if I know the full case.. My initial answer is that under careful supervision I guess he could juice but my next question is why risk it in his case...

Many ppl dont feel that great while on cycle.. Im not the only one who dont feel that great.. also normally I am selfconfident enough so luckily I dont feel even more that way while on.... Even when doing grappling training or kickboxing or whatever combat sports I havent notice any sort of boost in aggressiveness.. havent done any halo or that sort of drug though...

hippo, I appreciate your professional interest in this matter, that's way cool. He told me that he had a prosthesis valve put on his heart (don't know the medical term yet of why it was needed but i'll find out and get back to you. I do know that he needs to take a blood thinner for the rest of his life so that valve can open and close. Blood needs to travel through a tiny hole on the fake valve in order to open/close properly. I know this is vague but I should hopefully have some more info soon.

It's totally out of the question. When you first start on test, your heart beats out of your chest sometimes and raises your heart rate. Immagine if he's getting these sides, he's gonna freak knowing he's had probs with his heart in the past. How would you sleep at night. Also ass raises blood pressure and makes you retain fluid. That puts stress on the heart, especially dbol. Why would you risk something as serious as that?

also blood gets thicker with the increased RBC count... My advise is also that he should stay away from gear.. but if he doesnt follow our advise he should atleast keep a very close eye on BP, RBC and various other things... tell him not to do it... i mean its not necessary for him...
