    Noob injection question

Ok, I know this is a dumb question to ask, but what is the worst case scenario of injecting into a vessel? I did not get any blood draw back, but being my first injection ever, I was a bit nervous and it did move around slightly. I am still a little sore, nothing like the last couple days but I want to know just in case.

As I stated in another thread, there has been no massive swelling, heavy burning, fever etc so I have ruled out infection.

If you inject directly into your bloodstream you'll feel like sh*t pretty quick - coughing, feeling hot, etc. Then it goes away. I've never heard of anyone dying this way.
Really the worst case scenario of an injection gone wrong is an infection

You should know if you inject it entirely into a vein/artery as you will start to die rather quickly lol.

Nah don't be scared, just alwasy aspirate and you will be fine.

Now that would be damn funny, Ive been hit by a cement truck running a red, hit by a truck on my bike, thrown from a rolling jeep, fell 3 floors off some scafolding that some noob put together and then dying from a bad injection Im doing to myself. Now there's some irony if Ive ever seen it.

^^LOL,...sounds to me then, that you're destined to do an intravenous injection of AAS...and in your case, you should live to tell the story...

If you hit a vessel and then moved the pin around, likely you would have created a small tear in it large enough for some bleeding and would likely have some blood pooling under the skin.

As others have said, if you did a direct vessel injection, you would know it. You would already be dead. . .just kidding about dead.

Hold your pin in your dominate hand. (right hand for me) Hold it like a dart, not like OJ holds a knife. Once you have it in, use the pinky side of your hand or fingers to stabilize it. If you move it around a lot, you will end up with more pain because that little sharp point is in there tearing/cutting muscle fibers. Straight in and straight out.

Moving it around won;t kill you or anything, it just adds to the discomfort you virgin muscle will already feel from the esters.

    ...

Thanx for the info guys, I think I was over reacting a bit almost looking for a problem being a bit paranoid. Woke up this morning and the pain in my right glute is almost totally subsided and the swelling is pretty much non exsistant. Shot into the left glute last night and as of now (over 12 hours) there is less sensation of any pain than current in my right side and no swelling at all. By 6 hours of my right glute injection it was already sore and swollen.

Im assuming I either did it smoother this time or my muscle is a little more use to the Test. Either way, I like being able to sit down while writing this message instead of hunched over typing slowly as if I just took one for the team

Your biggest fear in the glutes is the Sciatic nerve.

You will know when you hit it. Your whole leg will hurt/twitch or tingle.

That usually goes away when you pull the pin out of it. :-)

Just look for some diagrams of where this nerve is. I don't think I have ever hit a nerve of ay kind in my thigh, but I have hit plenty of veins. There is nothing wrong if you go through a vein and inject on the other side. Just make sure you aspirate to make sure you don't shoot into a vein. When I have done it I usually have a coughing fit within a minute after.
