I personally put a heaping spoonful of glutamine powder in my water bottle that i drink while doing cardio! I dont want to risk catabolism! As soon as i'm done with cardio its also a protein shake, then a shower then a balanced breakfast.

Remember cardio is for endurance/stamina and for fat loss, its not for muscle loss so dont cut down on the food, just make it cleaner/leaner foods.

the question of how much cardio you should do (times per week, duration) can only be gauged by you depending on many different variables. I like to do cardio ED for 30 mins to keep healthy but I eat enough cals to continue bulking while doing this. If you are trying to lose fat you would obviosly adjust diet and cardio accordingly. What are your goals?

if you research for vitamin c you will find that it is the most effective thing for preventing muscle breakdown during training.
have liquid form of vitamin c when you r doing your cardio
