    Wow! Post Dbol...systolic BP 154!

Just looking for feedback on this. My systolic BP was at 154 while diastolic was at 75. I'm not sure how accurated because the cuff was pretty tight on my arm to begin with. My arms aren't huge (17") but I guess these supermarket BP machines are not one size fits all. I just hope I don't keel over with an aneurism.

I wouldn't trust supermarket machines. My doc said the cuff size being too small for us big guys can definitely alter the results

My systolic always goes up following a shot of test, also HR. 140-150 is not uncommon for me. The shorter the ester in the test, the quicker it goes back to normal and the longer, well you get the picture. Diastolic actually improves and my B.P has improved generally and I was a long time sufferer of high B.P

I think adrenalin increases with test raising systolic during active half life.

I would still use them incase an indication of high B.P may be correct. It can be wrong 10 times but it only has to right once to save your life. Better than no machine

Dude, RN here, temporary High BP is nothing to worrie about....I work in an emergency room and we don't even treat blood pressures over 200 systolic. Temperary HIgh blood pressure is bs.......what you do not want to do is allow you bp to remain high for years at at time....that is when it starts to cause problems.....decrease salt intake....increase h2o intake.....do cardio....avoid trans fats and you will be cool.

High bp for years is what will cause the problems that you DO NOT want.

    Your cool

That is not high, or even close to being high enough to worry about. Those machines at the market are oure crap, they need to be calibrated every so often and never are. Go get a regular BP cuff and a stethoscope and learn to take ur own(get a buddy to learn how to, and take each others bp) you can learn to do it in less than 2 minutes, seriously.
