    Question about needle size.

I was reading the info on www.**************.com and it says that you should use a 25 Gauge, 5/8 inch for tricep/bicep/delts. I'm going to be using Tren Ace soon and was wondering what you guys thought about using that size needle for my delts. Is it long enough? And will the oil pass through the 25 gauge easily?

that is a good size for tri's and bi's but not delts due to length

you should buy a pack of 25 gauge 1" pins for delts...i use 25 gauge 1" and push in all the way

also, yes oil will pass through 25 gauge, slowly but it will pass....just gotta be patient

    22 or 23, i prefer 22....pain isn't a factor, because with a 22 it just shoots right out.

I have used 5/8 in the delts with no problem.

If you are drawing oil, you may want to get some 18g or 20 g needles to draw with then switch to the 25 to inject

you don't - especially when injecting more than 1cc. You need to get in there deep so nothing leaks out of the muscle into the surrounding tissue.

This is why everyone said to use 1" pins.

I use a 1" 25g for all my sites, except for glutes. But i do use an 18 to draw, cause I dont have all day to watch gear load up. And you probably dont either.

Listen smartass. I am probably as big or bigger than most people on this board. Next time, before you put your foot in your mouth, maybe you should have checked my stats in my profile.

If you'ew afraid of using long needles, then maybe juice isnt the answer for you.

But wait, you know more than me, so be my guest and put large vulumes of oil a fraction of an inch under the surface of the muscle and enjoy the consequences. I had prop leak under the skin the first time I shot triceps and I got a nice sized knot and red irritation down the back of my arm to the elbow. I think it's called cellulitis or something.

The deeper the better. 1" needle - all the way in.

Note: The only thing I'll use a 5/8 pin for IM is B-12 because I dont care if it leaks into the sub tissue because it will be absorbed either way.

I am useing 25g 5/8 inch long needles right now when doing delt injections....I am also shooting 3 cc's per injection....

As long as you have low BF 5/8 inch needles will be fine for delts, tris, bis and pec's.....

OK, I can see hitting the outer tricep head with a 5/8, but with a large deltoid muscle I'm sticking to my guns and going with 1" -same with biceps.

LOL actualy I agree that most people should use a 1" for pecs, tris, bis and delts....That is normaly what I suggest when asked just for simplicities sake...But with a low BF 5/8 inch is fine to use also

I normaly use 1" my self but I had alot of 5/8 inch needles lying around so I am just using them up.....
