    Help, blew my knee out.

    hey guys, dislocated my left knee on boxing day. Still quite swollen, havnt hit the physio yet due to the timeframe but the doc thinks ive got some serious ligament damage. On the 1st which was nearly a week after i did it my left lowerquad was still nearly 4" bigger then my right, swellin has dropped alot in the last few days but yeah looks like im out for a good 8wks till im back to near 100%. Im thinking ill get back to training my upperbody the second i can somewhat walk, which will hopefully be in 2wks

    Well thing is im on cycle(2wks into 400mg of deca/750mg of test-e), im thinking of cruising on 200mg of deca, 250mg of test-e till im healed. Cant imagine running pct now, the muscleloss. Losses seem ok for now, downing 300g of good protein even though im in some serious pain. Not training obviously, but yeah im ok

    that sucks bro, always remember R.I.C.E then G.S.A.F.D when injured.

    R.I.C.E = rest, ice, compresion, elevation
    G.S.A.F.D = Go se a f***in doctor!!!!!

    Best of luck for a speedy recovery

    You have to get an MRI bro. If its torn its a quick proccedure to fix now. IT you wait till it heals it will never be the same and the surgery is much worse. You need to a a specialist and get an MRI. Good Luck.

    Sorry to hear about your misfortune...scope out the injuries and rehab forum...you should be able to find alot of supportive info in that forum as well.

    In either case, godspeed to you and your recovery.

    obviously you need to see what is actually wrong with your knee. MRI will show that once you are able to get the swelling under control..at this point,it could be anything from a strain or sprain to a tear of any of the ligaments, or meniscus or cartilige damage. I had my acle replaced almost a year ago & just really got back in the squat rack about a month ago..keep us posted, maybe we can help in some ways. good luck

    Had full tear of acl in high school 30% of mcl. You should see that doc get MRI and rest rest rest. Also I would hold off on cycles at this point you don't want to risk injuring or weakening your shit anymore thanit is trust me, 8 years later i still feel it on cold days and on every leg day my left leg needs to makeout with ice for atleast an hour.

    Good luck keep safe.

    I blew my knee out afew years ago, and it still causes me some problems everyonce in a while when I'm really hard on it.

    Definately get it checked out properly with a MRI.
