Harmful NSAIDS?

I've been told recently, and have seen in a bunch of magazines lately that all NSAIDS, have terrible effects on the muscle growth process. I've been bodybuilding now for more than four years and this summer I herniated 2 disks. For me, NSAIDS have become A priority, and I actually have seen a considerable size decrease. I upped all my dosages, and even started taking 750 mg sus 350 per week, to see if I can get my size back. Does anybody know anything about this NSAID problem? If so, is anything written in stone?

I take 1 tablet of alieve before most workouts myself, and have never had a single problem with growth. Doesnt seem to have made any impact at all for me.

dont know to what degree they halt growth but I have seen many huge guys who are on massive doses of nsaids constantly..

I have seen things like this too. I think from what I get from the readings is that since nsaids reduce or inhibit the inflammitory responce of the body. This causes the muscles to not repair themselfs as effectively since they need to be inflamed inorder to repair. I have not seen very many scholarly papers on this subject that prove any effect at all. Personally I will still take them.
