PO Box question

Hypothetically speaking........

If someone forgot to renew their po box about a month ago, and their key does not work in it anymore, what happens when a package is delivered there? Is it automatically shipped back to the sender, or do they wait a few days to see if the package is claimed?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

they held my mail for about two weeks then sent it back. i had tp open a new box , but you may still be in luck go check it out

It goes automaticaly return to sender.
