I injected in bicep now skin is red
I just did my first bicep injection and now the skin on and around the place i injected is somewhat red, i used a fresh needle and i'm hoping it's not because i'm doing something wrong... is it normal for this to happend on the first injection or no?

This usually happens to m everytime I introduce a new substance into a new muscle, especially a smaller muscle like a bicep.
I shot outer Bi's for the first time 2 weeks ago and my right bicep was all red like someone smacked my arm with an open hand. It was red for about a week. The first time I ever shot my right outer tricep head, same thing happened. It was nothing both times. Nothing to worry about. My guess is oil leaked above the mucle a little bit and irritated the skin.
what did you put in your bicep? In my case, it was prop/trenA/winny

when i inject into the bicep it always gets red right away and swells up,i think its normal because the bicep skin is so much more sensitive, but then again there is always the chance that it is an abcess

The first time I injected the prop/tren /winny combo into my right tricep, and my right bicep weeks later, I had the same reaction. Huge red area for about a week.
My left arm took it like a champ, though. Little soreness, and no redness.
I experimented with shooting directly pre- and post workout. Neither are a good idea, at least for me.
I would work the bodypart and then shoot the next day. Seems to work best for me. After the first couple go-arounds, you wont be able to distinguish the soreness for a good post-workout soreness. Feels good.
BTW, my winny is oils based, so I dont get as much pain as I would mixing waterbased winny with tren/prop oilLast edited by MAXIMA5; 01-20-2007 at 05:15 PM.

If you're asking me, I use 25G 1" for all spot injections. If I'm only doing one compound and less than 1cc (which is almost never), I'll use a slin pin, but the slin pins take forever to draw.

it's also important to note that a skin irritation will also feel hot to the touch, although it's not an abcess.
My whole boicep was red-like someone slapped it, and the red area was warmer than th other areas.
