Your friend is an idiot dude. When the steroid is injected it gets into your blood stream it doesn't stay in the muscle.

your buddy is wrong injecting into a muscle causing it to grow is a myth.the muscle might swell causing it to appear larger

You have to fully work that muscle you want to grow (specific exercises).

You have to fully rest that muscle you want to grow (sleep).

You have to fully feed that muscle you want to grow (food).

You have to have great genetics for a muscle to grow (mom and dad).

Make no mistake about it, you will make much better progress by concentrating on 3 of those than by injecting into the area. Localized injections (especially prop) only cause inflamation at best. The only confirmed localized growth you will get via injections are MGF or IGF-Lr3.

And I would wait for kits of MGF to come out as it will be considerably more effective than the generics that are in one vial now. The same thing holds true for IGF-Lr3. Good luck.

Receptors are sites on DNA were steroid hormones attach and cause genes to be activated in each muscle cell. In the case of steroids, they cause protein synthesis to take place which is what increases the size of your muscles. Keep in mind this is a very very basic explanation and there are a multitude of things that occur.
