1st inject cycle - few shots in

    Hey all,

Have recently started my first injectable cycle 500mg test e per wk, and have done 4 shots so far. All was good up until the start of this week, when i got flu (flu flu, not test flu). Took a shot on the Monday night anyway, but felt so shit i pretty much went straight to bed after, and the next day or two my ass really, really hurt. The injection felt ok, not as good as others, but still fine, and i assumed i just got the pain from taking it last thing at night. The pain has subsided mainly, and the flu is starting to go, but i now have what feels like a ridge running along my glute from the inject spot, about 4-5inches. There is also some redness, and it still hurts a bit, though like i said, is nowhere near as bad as it was. There is redness, but it does not feel hot to the touch. Just wondered if anyone thought i should worry too much about it? My guess is to keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse go to docs, but advice is welcome.

    Thanks.

Id also guess your stick to just glutes?? id try to find some alternate spots and start hitting them as well.. so you have a little more time to heal after a shot..

Thanks for the advice duramaxedge. Yeah, i always aspirate , and always gone glutes so far. This was the leftie, feels a bit awkward reaching all the way round there Was thinking today that it might be wise to alternate with quads. It doesn't look bruised, just a bit swollen/red.

    Thanks again for the reply.
