    First cycle (advice needed)

    Hi

    I'm 21years old, 188lbs and about 16% b.f [but thats what the electric scales say at the gym]
    I have been training for about a year and a half now. I used to weigh 231lbs when I started training :-( but i've disposed of all that fat now and i'm not looking too bad [compared to before]
    Ideally I want a more cut-up figure and I would really like a nice defined 6pack by the summer. Attached is a pic of my midsection as it stood in Nov 06.

    My question is, shall I run a 12 week cycle of test enth to start with?
    Also is the glute the best place to inject, or is it ok to inject in the thigh?
    Also I'm sure i've read amongst these forums that sometimes ppl just swallow the oil instead of injecting it? Or is that just crazy?

    Let me know guys about if it seems ok to start this cycle now and if i could get the dream 6 pack by the summer...

    i think you should hold off on gear for now. youve not been trainning very long. you have plenty of progress to make before you hit your natural peak. give yourself a few more years to learn more about proper nutrition and trainning and youll get that much more out of a first cycle...

    21yo.....some people might say you're a bit young for Anabolics.....

    Answer to questions though:
    1) 12 weeks is a good length for a single cycle of Test E.
    especially for beginners
    2) glute is the best being that it has the most muscle tissue to absorb the oil so you can inject larger amounts. But thigh and Delts are a good choice too, just inject smaller amounts.
    3) someone lied to you about swallowing the oil...unless it's an oral AAS that's suspended or dissolved in oil like; Dbol, winny, Drol....etc.

    congrats by the way on your body transformation from 230, just think of how much more you can do with a few more years of natural trainning and diet...

    oh, and by the way, congrates on the awesome weight loss. You lost something like 43lbs of fat?? That's awesome man...keep at it.

    I agree about waiting. The age is fine, but I think you can gain a lot more natty before juicing.

    the problem isnt as much his age as the fact that he's only been in the gym a year and a half...

    he's making great progress naturally and gear would be a mistake as he has plenty of room to continue making natural gains.

    also oral steroids are not suspended in oil...

    True, he can gain alot more naturally than resorting to medications at this time.

    Some are suspended in PEG right? Some in regular water?

    ARMBAR is 100% correct...the fact that he is young is one thing..but the fact that he's only traing for bit of time makes it even easier to say that he is not ready .....My freind you need a good base before starting AAS...you seem to have made good strides but you have a bit more to go...Trust me you'll apprciate all this advise in the long run.While doing this take the time to learn more about your nutrition and traing.

    Thanks guys, but ive stayed at this weight for quite a while now and I want to shed some more body fat as well as getting leaner. I do feel like now is the right time to start them.

    Will the test enth help reduce body fat levels at all? I was going to try 400mg or 500mg a week for the 12 weeks.

    BIGMAX: Do you have any posts/stickies of your workout routine? How long have you been working out consistantly and how long on AAS?

    bro you can get a six pack in less than 6 weeks, screw summer time.. screw gear and everything... run ED, diet your ass off, train like an animal and you will be surprised on your results..

    I'm sure a lot of ppl will agree, but you are def. pretty young, would stay off roids till mid-20s. But that's probably not going to stop you.

    I just got done with my 1st cycle, did a 10 weeker of test e. I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I'm sure an extra 2 weeks won't make too much of a difference.

    Swallowing?! First pass effect-pharmacologically, your liver will break down most if not all of what you are swallowing.

    Glutes and quads are the easiest sites of injection in my opinion. My first shots in the respective areas KILLED for a few days, but after that there was virtually no post shot pain.

    You don't need anabolics.

    You need a proper diet, hard training, and good sleep.

    Post your diet in the diet forum. 5 bucks says it needs work.

    There is a two-fold reason you should not be on anabolics as of yet. First, and most importantly, your body isn't even done maturing to the stage that you've "peaked" yet. Professional athletes do not peak until 26-27 and plateau around that age. What that means is they have been continuously progressing NATURALLY until that stage. You haven't even reached your physical potential yet without AAS! Try posting your diet/routine and getting some feedback that way. It'll take at least a year or two just to get those down right.

    Secondly, AAS are used to break through barriers. If you can't get past 220 lbs of 7% body fat and want 235, it can help you gain mass. If you've been running the 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds and want to get to 4.1, it might do that for you. If you're 12% body fat and you want to cut to a lean 9% and have a perfect diet but can't seem to shed lbs., then AAS might assist you. But they are NOT for unnaturally attaining goals without knowing just what your physical limits are in the first place.

    Good job on the weight loss... your sixpac is there you just need to drop a little more bf so it show more but you already know how to do that. Id hold off on the gear and hit the gym for another six months at least and then re-evaluate the situation.

    Exactly, shed some more BF first too prove to yourself that you have accomplished a lot (this can do wonders for the psychy) ...that's usually the hardest part of it all is to lose the fat but once you've done that (as you have proved you have the ability to do) then you can work on gaining muscle mass.

    I'm still quite impressed on the weight you already lost. It seems to me you definitely have the motivation and drive to get what you want so keep at it and it will pay off in all aspects of you life....more importantly: your health.

    If cut is what you're looking for, why not take the advice...hold of on the AAS for a while, and maybe try some clen in the meantime? Correcting you diet and cardio can be miraculous.

    if your finding yourself stuck at that weight, adjust your diet. cutting isn't easy and as your finding, gets harder the closer you get to your goal.

    does your diet look like this?

    "Meal 1:
    Lean Protein, 1/2 cup oatmeal

    Meal 2:
    Protein shake/Lean Protein (2 tbsp flax

    Meal 3:
    Veggies, Lean Protein

    Workout

    Meal 4:
    PWO Nutrition

    Meal 5:
    Veggies, Lean Protein, 1/2 cup rice or oatmeal.

    Meal 6:
    Shake with Flax

    That turns into approximately 300 grams protein, 130 grams Carbs, and 50 grams of fat.

    if not then steroids will not help you anyway. try this out for a few months. when your gains slow down, come back on here, show us new pictures, and we'll see how you look and go from there. for now, the consensus is no gear and keep working hard because your doing great.

    bro honestly i'd say lift for another year at least, get your diet in check and be consistent with your work outs and THEN start just start THINKING about steroids, i myself have been working out since i was 15 got serious at age of 18 and im almost 21 now and im just now thinking about my first cycle, i read this somewhere on the forum

    "dont get crazy with the anabolics, exercise is a life long thing"
