diet plays a huge role in the amount of water retention also.. lower your sodium intake, and be sure to drink at least 1.5 gallons of water/day.. give it a try and after a few days you should start noticing a decrease in the # of chins you got..lol

I agree with repped. I would start taking l-dex (arimidex) at .5mg/day for a week then drop it down to .25mg/day for maintenance. Take it everyday up until you start your PCT.

because it blocks estrogen and excess estrogen causes excess water retention, but be careful it might hinder gains if your dose is too high.

Your answer is already on this board. Lower your sodium intake and if that's not enough, flush it with a short cycle of ephedrine.

Thats a double edged sword :-)

Letro is more effective at blocking the aromatase enzyme, however, arimidex is generally accepted by most as being safer to run long term because it is easier on your lipid profile.

Remember, we don't want to TOTALLY erradicate estrogen as it can hinder gains. But at the same time, too much leads to the side effects that initially started this thread (bloat) as well as gyno.

Now, if I was developing Gyno, I would hit the letro as it can reverse early stage gyno. But I would not use it long term.

Actually, Letro and Arimidex are Aromatase Inhibitors (AI's). Blocking the Aromatase enzyme actually prevents the convertion to estrogen.

They don't block estrogen. SERM's Such as Nolva and Clomid block estrogen. They block estrogen by binding to the estrogen receptors. . .

Also remember y'all that estrogen plays a roll in your gains. We need a little estrogen to maximize our gains on cycle. If we blunt all estrogen then we also run into libido problems and sexual sides.

    Thanks for the recap Seattle.

what does the l-dex do, can you run that long term with no risk of affecting gains like letro would?

Why don't you get on the l/dex before it gets bad, if your only into week 4 and already bloated, it will get worse. Why wait till then?

A lot of drug options are being discussed with no look into the diet... whats your diet look like? Binge drinking and excessive sugars can irritate water retention.

Also, what does the cycle actually consist of? Not just drugs - but amounts, frequency and duration?

Cheers bro's, by the sounds of it I'm not drinking enough water, my diet is quite tight, not to much suger & no alcohol. I'm doing 4ml of deca & 2 ml of sust a week, its my 3rd week going to do it for about 8! I'm taking amino acids, trying lean system 7 now, its supposed to help water retention also increased my cardio.

Plenty of cardio and chuck some evening primrose oil in there too.Try to avoid the anti eostrogens(use it if you desperately need it) as they will limit your gains if your looking for maximum gains that is.

Its easy to not get in enough water while on cycle. And if your not intaking enough - you will retain it.

Water is involved in every process. And during a cycle you are trying to maximize the tissue building processes - requiring more water. Harder training requires more water. Increased cardio - requires more water. An increased ability to uptake and supercompensate glycogen, again, requires more water. Many make the mistake of drinking less to avoid water retention - but you need to drink more so your body doesn't try and hold onto the fluids is does get. Plus, dehydration can impede performance and cause cramping...

Your dose schedule is probably messing with you too... Sust is hard to keep even androgen levels when used only twice per week. You should be using testosterone enanthate or cypionate. Keeping even blood androgen levels makes it easier to avoid hormonal swings that can lead to edema, acne and even mood swings while on...
