about 4 days ago i shot 3cc test e in my right quad about the center of my right quad. over the past few days, my leg started to swell right on and above my knee, and formed a small knot right above my knee. it hurts to touch it and bend it and is slightly red around my knee area. wouldnt an abcess only form at the injetion site? any ideas on what i should do? im about to go ice it and see if that helps at all. thanks for any input guys

I got alot of swelling above my knee when I injected but no redness or lump?? You got a fever?

I have gotten bad bad shitty lumps before but only goen to the doctor once, when I was fine coem to find out. Basically.

Just monitor it and take Ibuprofin and try ice and heat for awhile.

I hope you injected on the outer edge of your quad and not the front of your leg? Most likely you have irritated the Rectus Femorus. When doing quads you need to hit the Vastus Leteralis. The quad is made up of a group of muscles. It's safer to do the glutes but if you must, go to one of those how to inject sites and study a muscle chart. Seriously, if your health is important to you then it's important enough to get it absolutely right. Peace

my first four injection sites swelled up alot..but were not infected...I had to replace my test-e with another "brand"....the new stuff is painless

well, that was definately not my first injection in that site. i have never had that problem, and im positive i hit the right muscle group. it feels better today but still swollen. seems like its just an unlucky shot and will clear up soon. for now ill just keep to the ice and advil at night. thanks guys
