Boxing and drug testing

If your just taking propenate,like just test basically could a boxing place test you for it?

depends on the place...and the reason they are testing you....if you are competing then you can prob count on it

yes they can catch you if you are on it. they do ramdom test after the fight and all title fights are mandatory tested.they test for everything in boxing. a boxer just got his title stripped for clen.you you better be careful you will get fineed and also suspended.ameatuer are more strict then the pros as far as controled substances. in the ams you cant even take regular medicine if you were sick.

What a coincidence, i was an amateur boxer and got caught using the stuff. Looking back now it was stupid of me because if you research the stuff and know what your doing then your ok. Basically research pays off.

weird, I fought in two state touneys and countless toughman fights and never once was i tested. I think it comes down to what level you are at. what league are you in, I can tell you if they test or not.

It all depends on the state athletic commission and how strict they are....New york has probably the most strict of all aswell as vegas..where as Tennessee and missippi are bit lighter on rules..

all states do a random testing and you never no when they are going to do it. i have been tested atleast a dozen times and nebver failed.here in florida they do it to atleast 4 people every boxing show. yes tennessee nad mississipi and virginia those states commission are very leanent.all champion ship fights get a mandatory drug test aswell.
