    first time steriod user

I am 24 years old i got out of the marines 2 and a half years ago when i was in the military i injured my hip and was told i had a possible tendon tear. when i got out of the military i started construction. i messed my back up even more and one day threw it out so bad it just started twitching uncontrollably went to the hospital and went home and rested fro 2 weeks it got somewhat better. then it seemed to get worse and felt like something tore in my lower left back had mri showed degenerative disk disease in two discs. went to a chiropractor for a while and it has only seemed to have gotten worse now my whole body feels like it is wasting away, i am now losing strength in my jaw it is hard to walk and my whole body feels like it is getting worse everyday , I cant even chew food anymore only soft foods. I feels as if my soft tissue is just breaking apart and wasting away. i have been to the veterans hospital and had all tests done they say everything seems to be normal except the discs. my health is getting so bad now that i am worried i will end up bed ridden think the only hope for me might be some type of steroids. i am interested in ordering some online. is there anything anyone can recommend for my situation i am desperate and need help i don’t think any doctor will subscribe steroids to me, My aim is Ryan9855 and my e mail is [email protected], if anyone can help recommend what to do at this point i really need help what steroids might be the best for my situation. I need something to bring strength back to my body.

Semper Fi, welcome to AR. First off, you can not ask for sources. Second, depending on what your actual condition is steroids might not be the answer. Some people do use them to help recover from injuries, I have heard about that. In your particular situation, if it is your back you are having problems with, then I don't think that steroids would help. If it is your bones and joints, Human Growth Hormone has been known to strengthen bones structure and cartilage. 19 nor compounds such as Deca Durabolin are known to increase joint lubrication. But some further info is needed from you, such as height, weight, and previous cycle history.

Oh yeah, don't respond to any E-mails you will likely get offering to sell you steroids. I would edit your E-Mail addy out, as you are now a likely target for scammers.

It is also only necessary to post one of these threads. You have a duplicate thread on this same board.

If you are able please got to a Rheumatologist. I know many doctors as well as many of them in my family. You should hear the horror stories about VA clinics. I am not trying to be judgmental, but the rest of the doctor community says they give below adequate care and that’s a nice statement. By the sounds of it you desperately need to see a private practice doctor, a chiropractor isn't a real doctor and I think your condition is far too bad to be messing around with. Look into that before you hop into a cycle. Best of luck.

The problem is steroids are not a magical substances that makes you big alone. Steroids help you help yourself get big. You have to train very hard to get the full benefits from them. But in your condition I don't see how that is possible. You mentioned that you can't even chew solid foods. That doesn't sound like you are in any condition to go to the gym and bust out some deads. I think that a private practicioner would be your best answer. You might benefit from something like Human Growth Hormone, and or IGF-1. Steroids do increase the bodies ability to heal itself, but I don't think they can do anything for a jacked up disc. I only use the VA for minor stuff, anything serious I go to a good doc. Also you need to apply for compensation too, you sound like you can get some money from the government, if you are not already.

Very well said. I think steroids will only make the problem worse. If you are about to be bed ridden you need to serously seek immeadate medical attention.

well the only way you would get offended by that would be 1)if you were in the Marine Corps and 2)weren't an 0-3.

Are those statements both true in your case?

About your jaw, are you taking any bone density medication such as Fosamax, Alendronate? If so, Google it. The somethings you need to know.

for my jaw at first only my lower back felkt tisted wich was putting pressur on my discs wich was driving me insane bt i went o a chiroprator and he ajdusted me 5 times a week for like 4 weeks and he did get the pressure off my disc but when he adjusted my neck it just seemed to be breaking the ligaments down that connected to my neck and jaw so i dont know why my ligaments are getting weaker and breaking down , but i dont think it has to do with bone denisty meds i havent taken anything for that. and i def stopped going to the chiroptractor, i didnt think humans ligaments could just get soft and start braeking down who has ever heard of such a thing

You need to see a head surgeon asap. Any problem above your shoulders is considered very serious. You need a good an authopedic surgeon for your back, a speech pathologist for your jaw and a good general practitioner who can coordinate this and follow it up and review your meds periodically. You need more agressive investigation here. I can tell you from my own experience with ruptured discs that your recovery will be a long term one so I would also suggest a pain management specialist as well.

Wasn't afraid. I joined before Sept 11. I thought I would be bored in the infantry, just doing training for 4 years. If I would have known I would have done LAAD or some infantry base position, something with some action. Although I saw a fair amount flying. Nothing puckers up your butt hole like seeing a SAM headed your way.

LAR would have been cool too. I was talking about LAAD, Low, Altitude, Air, Defense. Not sure about tanks, never had the desire. My first choice for jobs was NBC recon, that would have cool.

You think all that shit about 03's is true, easy to say when your an 03 trust me I did my share of it, but guess what, Im out now and If I would have done something worth while in there I might have a good job, Not a whole lot of people need Tube Launched Optically Tracked Wire Command Link Guided Misslemen in the civilian world. Unless you want to be a cop or blackwater or something Infantry doesn't help. Might puff your chest out a bit, I know it did mine, but you will get put in your place. Not to mention most of me best friends were Tankers, Motor T, and Supply guys, Its all about ego, thats all.

I went to school for a year to learn aircraft systems, and went through flight training. I had all kinds of certifications and training that would allow me to get a great paying job working on aircraft. The problem is I don't want to work on aircraft. Can't stand them as a matter of fact. I feel like that was kind of a waste of training, but what can you do.

I think you have to re enlist to go force. But even recon school is a long ass time. All the schools you have to go to. I ran into a recon guy at SERE, he had been in the Marines for 2 years and was still wasn't in the fleet.

He's not calling you worthless bro, I have nothing but great respect for Corpsman. But you make it sound like you did what he did, you can't take credit for what you have not done. You spend 8 weeks at great lakes. We spend 13 weeks at PI or MCRD, then SOI, then advanced training. I was an airwinger, I don't have the glory or prestige of being a ground pounder, but I would never take credit for something I didn't do.
