    alittle blood was in syring?

    after i toke my shot i found alil blood in the syringe............when i pulled back i didint see nething come up in the syringe or any bubbles..........but apparently i must of hit something for there to be blood in the syringe after the injection....what does this mean???

    As long as blood didnt fill up the syringe you are fine, you more than likely just hit a vein happens all the time.

    ^^^ Yep, you may have nicked a vein on the way in or out. You should be fine as long as you aspirated and got no blood.

    You also get some localised bleeding right at the injection site in the muscle. The blood can enter the needle but like "SMAN12B" said, as long as there was no blood when you aspirated.

    How do you find blood in the syring AFTER you have injected. The plunger should be all the way down. There is no room for blood. Did you pull back the syringe plunger after you injected ?
