xanax/valium effect on Steroids
I have read that drugs like thc may cause estrodial conversion, was wondering if that was true for things like xanax and valium?

Where did you get that info from? What do you mean estradiol conversion? that the drug converts to estradiol or what? Can you post a link?

I was reading about THC/weed effects on testosterone and some studies said thc causes testosterone to estrogen conversion others said it only lowered your own test production.
Couldnt find anything that mentioned valium and xanax.
I'll look for one of the links, read a lot of different studies.
my own experience was that thc made my face swell when on a cycle, just wanted to see if anyone had or read anything similar with Xanax/valium

Good point, the xanax I was perscribed actually from the same doc that perscribed my test therapy.
Very true, they are very different chemical make ups.
didnt mean to get into the rec drug area.
just didnt want to hurt my progress, its just when I play shows outta town I have troubles sleeping and sometimes my hand gets stiff on stage.

I'm also on xanax, that's why the interest in your thread. I havn't had any probs while on or off cycle. I use an AI throughout my cycle and during P.C.T and didn't get any serious estro sides so don't worry Bro. The only thing is that while on I'm more anxious and I need to adjust the xanax doses. The main culprit for me is test and EQ. Var, Primo, Proviron , Masteron no problems.

Valium/ Xanax = Risky!

It's VERY effective. But withdrawl from Benzo's is on par with Nicotine and Heroin. Tolerance builds very quickly. I got to a point a few years ago, where I needed 50 mg of Valium a day to do what 10 mg did two years prior.
If you take too much. You can go into respiratory arrest. You stop breathing.
Like all drugs, there is use, and abuse. Trust me. This is not a drug to abuse.
I'll get off my soap box, now. Just be careful, bro.

xanax and valium come from the family of drugs known as benzos... and benzos are actually an anti-catabolic substance by way of lowering the stress hormone cortisol... this in effect equates to muscle growth... but the addictive nature of these drugs makes them less then perfect for the use of muscle growth

Interesting information...not to highjack the thread but what about other narcotic prescriptions; more specifically pain killers? There are studies out there that show Ibuprofen(or any COX-2 Inhibitor) inhibits skeletal muscle hypertrophy. So personally I stay away from them...that being said inflammatory pains can not be reduced with non-COX-2 OTC meds (IE Tylenol)...so a low dose narcotic is the only way to go IMO.

Yo, Juiced, thank you very much for the info, that makes sense and I was able to look up benzo now that I know thats what they are!
Old Man, Very good point, I lost a friend from taking xanax, I learned to never take them more than once a week under doc. supervision but keep reminding people, Meds have their benefits but only in a responsible manner.
