is there a large quality difference between vet gear and human grade gear?

If a bottle says test prop, it should contain test prop. What is this differentiation of vet gear vs human grade gear? Isn't test prop just test prop? Is there really a difference? Can vet gear harm you? Is it less potent/efficacious?

from what i know...vet gear can be but not always is, less steril and can have a little more pain...some vet gear supposedly is underdosed and underfilled also, whereas human grade to my knowledge is more regulated to be cleaner and more accurate with doses and quantity...bottom line, not too much difference IMO but I'm sure someone on here disagrees

right on thanks, that makes sense. Yeah I don't like the idea of something being unsterile.

I thought that "human grade" stuff is always regulated by a government agency like the FDA so they have to maintain a very high standard of sterility, purity and potency.

Vet grade is less regulated so it could be a little less pure

...poor little Lassie gets second grade meds......

haha I'm not so sure about that. Are you saying the FDA, a federal regulatory body, is regulating the purity of ILLEGAL substances for the consumer?

They aren't illegal, they are controlled substances. Test Cyp, Anadrol and Methytestosterone are all produced in the US by various companies and are class III substances and yes, regulated by the FDA. Not Illegal

Class III, same class as percocets and other pain relievers like that

Did you know Cocaine is not an illegal substance? It acually has a medical value so a good Lawyer can have it presented in court as "possession of a controlled substance" not "possession of an illegal substance" ...sounds much better

Things like LSD and Heroin have absolutely no medical value and are Illegal to possess in any situation

Anyway. The whole "human grade" vs. "vet grade" issue is only an issue when you're talking about human stuff made in the USA. Outside of our country, who knows what goes on. Either way, I don't think it's worth the difference in price. Homebrewing will always be best when you consider economy vs. safety. When you're making it, you know exactly what's going into it.

I don't know what you were trying to say in the beginning of your statement?
Europe has EMEA, I said "like" meaning agencies that are similar to the US's FDA.

You are wrong about the Vet grade anabolics in the US...what do you think Finaplix and Synovex is? Veterinary hormones (steroids) produced in the US. They are implants but steroids none the less.

I shy away from vet gear. It has a habit of being underdosed and purity/sterility is always a large concern. But I'm not about to pay for Pharm grade gear either. Best thing to do is find a good reputable UGL and stick with that.
