Ventrogluteal Injection

I was just wondering, what are some opinions on a ventrogluteal (hip) injection site? And what size needle should be used and whats the mL limit on injecting there? Its not that often talked about and I was curious to get some info and opinions so I could possibly add it to my injection site rotation.
