Is it just me, or is every medical contributor to the question of steroid use a total idiot? Do steroids raise you bad cholesterol levels? Yes. Do they lower your good cholesterol levels? Yes. Do they raise you blood pressure? Yes. Can they cause a laundry list of other problems if used improperly? You bet your ass. Is that what happens to the majority of steroid users? NO! There is no end to the types of contributing factors that can affect your health. Type and frequency of activity (or lack thereof), pre-existing medical conditions, genetic pre-disposition to experience certain medical conditions, quantity and quality of sleep, and let's not even get into the subject of diet. That's just scratching the surface. What the media, non-sports specializing doctors, and all the other naive boneheads won't tell you, is that millions, that's right, millions of men AND women have improved their overall health and fitness with the use of steroids. I have been a steroid user for many years off and on. No, I have never intended to compete in bodybuilding. I started out a tall, thin, big-boned young man with a generally loose-looking midsection. The first time I felt strong and fit, even after 10 years as a dedicated martial artist, was when I did a simple cycle of Equipoise while in the Navy. My body changed dramatically, and I experienced NO adverse side-effects. After the Navy, I did another cycle with Deca at about 25 years old, again with dramatic, very satisfactory results. As of now at the age of almost 37, I have been on a tear for the last year. I started with Deca and Test for one cycle, followed by Trenbolone Acetate and Winstrol for another 10 weeks (with a little D-bol for the first 4 weeks of that cycle), Followed by a cycle of Test Cypionate, and now at the end of the Cypionate, I am embarking on a full cycle of Deca (200mg/wk), Trembolone (375mg/wk), Winstrol (50mg/wk), and D-bol (for the first 4 weeks again) (40mg/day). Oh yeah, I'm also about to start Clenbuterol to help burn fat. I have NEVER had any significant side-effects, other than a few extra pimples and occasional water-retention, and temporarily altered blood pressure and cholesterol levels. So frigging what?!? By the end of this 12 weeks, I will be 6'3", 275lbs., and shredded. Then my levels will all return to normal, including my natural testosterone levels from taking post-cycle therapy (HCG), and I will do more cardio and lighter lifting. The end result will be that I will be in the best shape of my life at the age of 37, and as I continue to age and exercise, my build will slowly reduce in size, but by just doing some light dieting, a good cardio program, and some cirtuit weight training, I will continue to look absolutely great. Does that sound like a bad thing? Hell, no. Would I have gotten the same body without the pharmaceutical help? Hell, no - not with all the distractions and interference of real life. Am I the exception? Again, no way. I'm actually the rule. The people who experience medical problems directly attributed to steroid use? THEY are the exception. I hope that some day the uneducated masses will get a clue, and stop seeing steroids as evil, stupid, or a psychological crutch for the insecure. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
