i dissagree with most posts in this thread.... painkillers inhibit gains greatly... makes you very lethargic and unwilling to push urself the days after taking painkillers.... i got into a very bad motorcycle accident in the middle of a cycle and i felt like my strength gains stalled and i lost weight due to the decrease in appitite...

You're better off running a EDITED. You get awesome intensity and focus.

COME ON MAN, Pain killers are the most abused drugs in the world. They don't help pain they just make you feel good. They are addictive as hell. Then as tolerance increases you take too many, and they kill you.....

I think the thread has served it's purpose and is begining to cross the line into rec. drug discussion which is not allowed on this board...I think the mentioning of being better off running a meth lab is crossing the line. Careful what you're talking about bros.

if pain is severe enough to need painkillers then you shouldnt be able to work out anyway. if your wrist feels that bad then taking something for pain before you work out is just gonna make the injury worse. pain is your bodys way of telling you enough is enough. athletes taking shots before games is different. a living is at stake. believe me i know. the average joe should just work throgh the pain. if not then the injury is too severe and needs time to heal. dont take pills to get you through a workout.

see theres the thing u were addicted and didn't stop.... so withdrawls and the shittyness that comes when you take them for a day or two never hit you... if you keep doin the drugs of course your not going to feel the negative withdrawls and the effect on your workout!!!

GO buy yourself a sense of humor. Are you a cop? IT WAS A JOKE !I was trying to make a point - albeit facetious. WTF?
How is advising a fellow BB about the dangers of pain killers crossing the line?

Firstly, you wern't just advising against the dangers accociated with abuse of painkillers...the first clause of your post stated that one would be better off running a Meth Lab...

Go read the rules Old man, joke or not, rec. drug discussion is against the policies of this board.

If you want to joke about rec drugs, there are plenty of other boards across the net that you can do this at...not here.

No I am not a cop, just a long-standing member here that is aware of how things are run on this board.

There is a reason for the "No rec. drug discussion" rule on this board. It's there to not only protect the board, but to protect the members as well.

And Old man...GO buy yourself some chill pills...attitude won't get you far on this board.

There is no discussion of recreational drugs. Flaming is also against board rules. You already have one strike for your previous avatar. You are headed for strike two.
