    Blood work done -some high values

    I got my blood work result yesterday.
    I ended my last cycle 6 months ago
    I'd like to start my next cycle on monday

    Some of my values are high:
    (GGT, AST, kidney function, other values: totally good)

    Bilirubin total: 22,9 (good under 19)
    Bilirubin direct: 5,6 (good under 5)
    Bilirubin indirect: 17,3 (good under 14)
    SGPT (ALT): 75 (good under 50)
    Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) 289 (good under 279)

    CK (Creatin Kinase): 640 (good under 195)

    I think all of these values are high due to heavy training and high protein diet
    (because the CK is high, and that is a sign of liver enzymes elevation due to exerciese)

    What do you think? Can I start my cycle?

    The high SGPT is a little concerning, but it's not too too high (nothing that would suggest serious liver damage or hep, that is). Are you taking any medications?

    Nothing strong
    (xanax before bed)
    I think (better to say I hope ) it is elevated because of the training.

    My bilirubin values are in umol/liter. 22 umol/liter = 1.3 mg/dl

    Serum enzyme activities in individuals with different levels of physical fitness.

    * Koutedakis Y,
    * Raafat A,
    * Sharp NC,
    * Rosmarin MN,
    * Beard MJ,
    * Robbins SW.

    British Olympic Medical Centre, Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, Middlesex, England.

    Serum creatine phosphokinase (CPK), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activities were assayed in 15 healthy but untrained subjects (US) and seven Olympic rowers (OR). Blood samples were obtained at rest, and five and 60 minutes after an ergometer test, during which cardiorespiratory data were obtained. OR demonstrated higher resting CPK (p < 0.001) and AST (p < 0.05) levels than the US. CPK and AST reached their highest levels five minutes after the end of the ergometer test in both groups, whilst peak ALT was reached five and 60 minutes post-test in the US and OR respectively. Fitness parameters and serum enzyme levels were better correlated in the OR group. It is concluded that: (1) exercise temporarily increases the activities of serum AST, ALT, and CPK, (2) increased physical fitness has no bearing on resting serum ALT enzyme levels, although this was not the case with AST and CPK, and (3) exercise duration rather than fitness levels seems to be related to serum CPK, AST, and ALT activities.

    I have continually elevated bilirubin levels related to Gilbert's Syndrome (basically a condition which the body has a hard time breaking down bilirubin). There are specific diets you can follow which help the condition.

    Is this the first time you had your enzymes checked?

    The only thing that really exacerbates my condition is Dbol or really heavy drinking (a thing of the past now).
