    Hrt

Just for the record. I posted this in both the HRT and Over 30 Forums but only got 1 response. Either no one has an answer or not many >30s on here.

Anyway, just looking for some ideas. Have done 2 cycles this past year.

At what point do you determine if you should go on HRT?

Is it based on test levels?

How long off cycle should you wait to see if you should go on HRT rather than cycling.

    I'm 38
Wt: 206 (up from 175; 2 years ago)
    Ht: 5'10
    BF: 15%

Have been back into training for 2 years. Previous to that was powerlifting.

Recent blood work (after 7 week cycle Sust 250; switched to Test Eth 300mgs per week x 5 weeks). Currently on Nolvo and Trib.

    LH < .1 mIU/ml
    FSH < .1 mIU/ml
    Testosterone 19.2 (range 13 -71)
    Calculated Free Test 344.2 (range 260 - 750)
    Free Androgen Index 84.3 (range 40 - 170)

LFTs within normal limits except for Bilirubin; high related to Gilbert's Syndrome

Prostate Specific AG 0.97 (range 0.00 - 4.00) Thank God I don't need "The Finger"

I will repeat blood test in 4 weeks to see how things are looking.

Just wanted to get some feedback.

well, for me the biggest factor is having children.. i won't go on hrt until i'm done having children..as far as blood work, i;ll just run a cycle and get my levels checked sometime shortly after pct.as i know my levels will be sub-standard..

My wife and I have 2 kids, so no future fertility issues there.

I wouldn't go on full time HRT unless I had too. I'd work on boosting my test with supplements first (zinc etc.). I don't mind cycling but because of the side effects and costs I would not want to do this full time unless I felt I had too, Given the BS with the HRT clinics lately I wouldn't want to depend on a cooperative doctor with a script.
