No they still don't unless you give them reason too. They still are just using random urinalysis to test for rec drugs. One of my boys got seperated though because they found some in his locker and tested him for it after. BUt you're still good.

Your best bet is to gradually gain mass over a period of time. If you gain, let's say 15 pounds over 2-3 weeks, then they might test. Remember that it costs the U.S. Military roughly around 3-5 thousand dollars to test someone for testosterone . They test for 6 major drugs, weed, coke, meth, etc.... steroids is not one of them. I just got out of the U.S. Marine Corps and believe me, they tested us all the time. Be smart about it.

yes the military can test you for steroid use . The commander of your unit must have probable cause before he can have you tested for steroids and when he does he has to get a individual sample sent in and it takes 6-8 weeks for results. if you do it just be careful and dont get to big too fast!

I started having kidney problems last year while I was in the navy after I stayed on cycle for 6 months in japan. When they ran my blood they saw what my test levels were and gave me an other than honorable discharge. FYI

Hey mealticket, I am just quoting one of the NCIC (Navy Criminal Investigation Center) agents that i know. Remember that the DOD has different standards they go by to test people in the military. They don't want to screw someone for a screw up, and give someone a discharge that could affect their entire life.

The only way the ARMY will test for steroids is if the soldier in questions commander submits a formal request stateing, that he (the commander), has probable cause that leads him to believe the soldier is taking steroids.

Because you did a medical drug test which can't be used against you in anyway legally. Thier is no chain of custody and you could fight that rather easily in court.
The other test is a "legal" drug test which requires chain of custody reciepts, multiple tests/controls and a letter from your C.O. (or equivilant) to authorize the test to maintain accuracy to hold up in court.
...believe me, I know this process...lol

That isn't what I said at all. That would give them probably cause that you are taking hormones and a "legal" test could be ordered by (like I said earlier) your C.O. or someone in that acting position over you. The Legal test can be held against you in court because of the chain of custody reports and accuracy.
Medical tests can't be held legally against you because there is no chain of custody and a good lawyer could rip those results apart in military court.
Mistake number 1: don't ever admit to taking, selling or accepting anything to anyone.....request a lawyer. You admitted it and that's all they need in both civillian and military court: Confession

^ I agree but I wasn't going to argue because I was guilty as charged.

And, sometimes honesty is the best policy. If someone was to make the military (or any corp. for that matter) spend money and time to investigate you, you could face harsher sentences and fines (especially).
