after you swab the injection site with an alcohol pad, do you have to let it dry. i usually do, then inject. i poked my pec this morning with only 1/2 cc of 150mg EQ but didnt wait till the alcohol dried up. everything was sterile and i aspirated with no blood. the only thing is that it stung a lil more then usual. could it be because of the alcohol on my skin.

You shouldnt have any problem... one of my first experiances with alcohol and a shot i was an idiot..... i accually wiped the needle off with the alcohol pad and then shot .... that sucked ALOT .!!!! but that was ALONG time ago and alot of shots ago .....

yeah i didnt do that...i waited a lil bit after i swabbed the site with alcohol but the shot definately stung more then usual. thats the first time i did that i usually wait till it dries up then inject...i guess i was in a rush.

I did the same thing to and man it hurt like a bitch! Let the stuff dry. I took extra pre-caution the next time and let the fan blow on my ass lol.

really, i dont let it dry, just rub it on and then inject, it doesnt stung a bit
