Sperm count
If your boys dont shrink, does that have any indication on your sperm production while on cycle?
On Deca /Sus/Db cycle
Fealing stong, gaining well and horny as a rabbit. Not much for shrinkage though and was wondering if that meant my sperms still kicking it.

I have also read studies that tes is beter than the pill is for women. That being said I would not count on it. I just mention it for the people that are having problems getting pregnat while on cycle as this was the case for me. (while on cycle)

worth reading...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3543478/
here's a quote..."Coviello and her colleagues have found that a male contraceptive that releases testosterone over three months is potentially a safe and practical method of contraception. The Seattle researchers have been testing a sustained-released, testosterone micro-capsule, which consists of a thick liquid administered by injection under the skin."
"“They all worked really well and I was able to look at my lab results and see my sperm count drop to zero,” says Setlow."
also note:
Injecting testosterone will interfere with a complex sequence of hormonal reactions that begin in the brain and end in the testes, resulting in sperm production. To get more technical, this extra dose of testosterone withholds the amount of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secreted by the hypothalamus in the brain. GnRH stimulates the release of hormones called gonadotropins from the pituitary gland, which is also in the brain. Gonadotropins are hormones essential in signaling the testes to produce sperm. So, the suppression of GnRH ultimately results in preventing sperm production in the male and, as a result, helps to prevent pregnancy in the woman partner.
Also note: Your g/f or wife can get pregant while your on a cycle....just not by you

I was concieved while my pops was cycling AAS. When I cycled I noticed some differences in my sperm. My sperm was thick like cottage cheese and post cycle was clear watery. I had a sperm count test done, but never went back for the results, I just assumed that if there was a problem they would have contacted me.

Now, if you read, they were only using 200mg a week....
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...&dopt=Citation
PIP: 250 men are participating in a clinical trial of a reversible male testosterone contraceptive at the University of Washington in Seattle and at 9 other centers in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Clinicians inject the WHO-developed testosterone enanthate (200 mg) into these men once a week. The testosterone contraceptive instructs the pituitary gland to deactivate 2 hormones which normally maintain the testes' function resulting in a temporary stop of spermatogenesis just like the female oral contraceptive instructs the pituitary gland to suppress ovulation. Tests of 5 ejaculates in preliminary trials have indicated that 50-60% of the men experience azoospermia. Investigators are concerned with the possibility that ejaculates during normal intercourse may contain enough sperm to impregnate the partner. An investigator at the University of Washington believes this clinical trial of 250 men will determine whether this is indeed the case. The concern about contraceptive failure is the main problem with contraceptive testosterone. The minor side effects include weight gain which may be due to increased muscle mass and some sodium retention, acne, and possible reduction of libido but that has not yet occurred in the 250 men in the clinical trial. This contraceptive testosterone does not remain active for long periods of time if administered orally. Researchers are now developing a newer form of the contraceptive which will increase the intervals between administrations from 1 week to 3 months. An investigator from Seattle guesses that this male contraceptive will not be available for marketing in the US until at least 1994.

Where did you get your information? Can you please quote your source or reference ANY study that backs up your baseless claim. I don't even understand what your trying to say, it doesn't shut down at all but may decline(sounds like some may be shuting down) and what is still kickin in mean? I think you made this up as you were typing.
I think this board is a great place to share knowledge not gossip.
Edited: Wrote pituitary gland but meant prostrate gland, fixed error.

Do you even know what the pituitary gland is? Adds nothing to the fluids in ejaculation. It produces LH/FSH to control the production of sperm and testosterone . "Very scientific" .....but google it a little better next time
It's the prostate gland that adds most of the volume in your ejaculate.
Do you know what that is?
And for the proof that it shuts it down almost to nothing, check my post right above yours. Courtesy of PUBMED.
Feel smarter now?

My mistake Dizz28, I did say pituitary gland but I meant prostrate. I did read your article you posted and believe we are on the same side of the issue, most aas(e.g. test and the 19 nor) shut down sperm production. Considerable money and research has been done on test as a male contraceptive. My intention was not to flame anyone but rather the method in which some base their arguement., heresay is an unaccepctable method in contradicting scientific studies, evidence, and proven mechanisms.
Sorry if I came off as offensive and I am very sorry and embarassed for the error in writing pituitary rather than the intended prostrate. I need to proof read my threads before I reply!
