Test E and sleep
I'm finding that most days I'm tired/sleepy and it feels like I'm not getting enough sleep while on test e @500mg/wk. On average, I'm getting 7-8hrs of sleep. I'm trying to get a 1hr nap every couple of days.
I think I'm 28 days in - will have to double check that at home.
Is this normal?
I don't think it's overtraining as I'm only doing 2on-1off @ about 10-12sets each day and each body part is trained once every 8 days or so.
My diet is very clean as well.
Thanks.

It's not that I can't sleep. I feel I don't get enough sleep.
I do my shots 250 Sunday 7pm, 250 Thursday 7am.

I've used test e on at least 3 other cycles and have had the same problem. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night wide awake and of course then during the day I'm dead tired.

It makes it harder for me to sleep also but I feel rested all through the day. I have doctor Rx'd sleep meds so I usually get a solid 7 in level III and IV sleep so i know I'm well rested.
Also, I know a lot of people don't have this luxury but I take an hour or two nap in the afternoon. Usually right after I work out nd fill up on shake.

Ok, so it's not only me - good. Yeah, I'm trying to get as much sleep as I can, but not always possible with kids and family schedule. There are times that I could go to bed early but it cuts into my eating schedule - is this ironic or what?

I have found that naps can contribute to the problem. Once you start taking naps it becomes more difficult to fall asleep at night IMO. I try to maintain 8 hours and be consistent with what time I go to bed and wake up. I also take B12 sublingual which seems to have helped and drink a Lo-Carb Monster drink each day. No caffeine past 3pm or so and with no naps and a busy day I will find myself sleeping better. Hope this helps.

I can take as little as 400mg of test a week and have a hard time falling asleep. If I can get 5 or 6 hours of sleep I wake up ready to take on the world. After the cycle is when I can't get my a$$ out of bed in the morning.

I agree with renman and follow the same plan no caffiene past 2p.m. but I use a red bull at about 1pm everyday. I strongly discourage using Rx sleep aids like one guy mentioned, they can be very dangerous and cause dependence.

it is not abnormal, some people cannot sleep and some feel they cannot get enough sleep, check your caloric intake and water intake as well
good luck to you

Thanks guys.
Yeah, with naps, you have to be careful. I find 1 hour is about right. If I nap more than that, I get up tired and can't fall asleep at night.
I also take ZMA at night and it seems to give me better, deeper sleep. I have to get up at 6 each morning and it's not my kind of tea. Mondays are always worst. Like this morning, the alarm went off, went to change it to 7 and it was much better. If only I could work 10 to 3 and make the same money...and have someone look after the kids after work...oh well, time to wake up.

When I was doing my Test E and EQ cycle, I was having to take a nap everyday. But I'm pretty sure it was because of the EQ.

im sorry im still not understanding
so what is the test doin to u guys again? its makin you sleepy throughout the day? or its NOT lettin you sleep at night?
and if its NOT lettin you sleep at night, when u do finally sleep, do you feel rested with only 3-4hrs of sleep, or do you need like 10-12hrs of sleep to feel rested?
i too wakeup everymorning at 6am, gotta open the business at 7am, i need to be AWAK AND ALERT 200% and then i close doors at 6pm, my god..... i would die if im tired throughought the day :-/
so again, what is the tEST E doin to u?

i find the need to take a 1 hr or so nap when on cycle. helps everything out. dbol makes me very sleepy, but so does test. not a lethargy and spent feeling all day, but just in need of a nap here or there.

Well i feel tired most of the time. Im ok for about 5 hours after i wake up, but then i feel droopy and i can take a nap without problem. By the end of the day its almost like im over tired and i cant fall asleep right away. My trick is not to watch tv, read a book and wear earplugs... its been working the last couple days

Same feeling here, i dont need a nap every day, but EOD would add in enough to get me back up on my feet.
