    pulled back 4th week in!

    Hey guys, I was working my chest doing dumbell benchpress yesterday, at a weight I was never able to lift before. On my last set, I dropped the bells and sat up and was unable to move my upper body. I did not feel the pull while I was lifting, but it is now the day after and I am in so much pain I had to take the day off work. The pull is in the upper area of my back below my right shoulder in my lat area. Is this going to compromise my cycle? There are no signs of any serious damage, although it hurts to lift my arm, and certain movements will cause my back to cramp up.

    What can I do to speed the healing process, and what steps can I take to get back to heavy lifting again? I always stretch before a workout, evidently not enough however, but I also figure it is where I am at in my cycle based on I have never lifted as much as I have yesterday.

    Any thoughts?

    I have pulled things like that when doing bench. It has only been when using DB's. Go figure. But I would heat, ice, heat, ice. And it should go away if not serious.

    it could be that maybe ur tendons ligaments, etc cant handle that much weight right now.....i know thats one reason why ppl say to wait till u have a solid base bc the rest of ur body gets to be developed .....good luck tho man

    thx for the replies guys

    @GHO5T -- 5 years lifting b4 aas -- e.o.d

    @anonymous -- thats what I thought as well, im 4 full weeks into a 600mg/wk test e cycle with heavy weights e.o.d, and I have never been able to lift as much as I have on that day. My workouts are heavy and thorough, I just must have been caught up in the moment and overexerted myself.

    Thanks again guys
