    Is feeling the cholesterol normal?

What does it mean if at times while on gear and one feels a peculiar heart beat? Kind of like a flutter... Tough to describe but I guess it feels like grease coming up, kind of like when you feel after eating greasy food. Is this because cholesterol is out of wack or what? Anyone experience this, if so go ahead and describe it better if you can.

cholesterol is the silent killer, i don't think you can feel it. your body not being able to process the grease make you feel bad.IMO

This does not sound normal to me. You may have a benign heart valve issue, as it is somewhat common. However I would strongly recommend you see your doctor and explain the problem. They will probably make you wear a heart moniter for 24 hours for diagnosis.

if you get chest pains its a sign of ischemia meaning your heart is not getting enough blood flow (oxygen), which can be a sign of stenosis (narrowing of the arteries) resulting from high levels of cholesterol build up.

and i doubt you can feel it but you may notice more difficulty breathing and increased HR. try to increase HDL levels and if doing cardio, which you should, begin at a low-mod. intensity until you can reduce myocardio O2demands. Emphasize on duration rather then intensity.

Could be a Heart arrhythmia issue.

What your having is called a " Palpitations"
Any rapid heartbeat (or tachycardia) can give rise to this feeling. A rapid, regular fluttering in the chest may be associated with sensation of pounding in the neck as well, due to simultaneous contraction of the upper, priming chambers of the heart (the atria) and the lower, main pumping chambers (the ventricles). If the fluttering in the chest feels very irregular, then it is likely that the underlying rhythm is atrial fibrillation. During this type of rhythm abnormality, the atria beat so rapidly and irregularly that they seem to be quivering, rather than contracting. The ventricles are activated more rapidly than normal (tachycardia) and in a very irregular pattern.
