is 1.8ml too much to shoot in on shot? i just started my 2nd cycle, and i shot 1ml of test with .8ml of deca, put them in the same syringe and took the shot in my glute. when i pulled out the needle it looked like i had a welt around where the needle went in. am i doing something wrong?

It should be fine just a little build up of oil it will disperse in due time. I've put 3ml in my delt and had no problem. There was a welt but that went away in a few days.

How long is your needle? Did you put it in all the way? If you do not get it into the muscle you can get whats called a "skin pop".

make sure you use atleast a 1" if you have low body fat, pref a 1.5" for glutes to make sure you get all the way into the muscle. 1.8cc is fine.

You are looking for a reason for the welt? Was there some blood that came out when you pulled the needle out? If so you may have gone through a vein close to the surface when you injected. Not into a vein but clean through it. I have done this on quad shots. Make sure it doesn't get too sore or red and watch the swelling to go do in a day or so. I would say a 1 1/2 inch needle for glutes everytime. If your ass is to skinny for it then you shouldn't be doing aas in my opinion. And 2 ml is fine for glutes. I have shot 3ml into my delts with no problems. Good luck on your cycle bro.-Erwin

thanks, yeah that last one sounds exactly right, blood did come out, but when i pulled back on the plunger i got a bubble, and yes im using 1 and a half inch needle and yes it was in all the way.

I got a red welt too! How long did it take to go away? When I pulled the needle out it bleed as well, does that mean the shot won't work? What did I do wrong?
