Steroids + Working out
Let's say you went on a 500mg p/w, 12 week cycle of Test E.
Now if during that time, I trained ONLY forearms (we'll say I train them every 4th day) and NOTHING else, would my forearms grow more/faster than if I had trained my whole body during the 12 weeks?
Another way to word the question, could I get higher localised gains if I trained only one area and nothing else?
Basically I'm wondering if all the 500mg would be utilized by that one area, seeing as none of the other areas are being stimulated.
Please keep in mind that I'd never actually do this, I'm just curious :P

I would NEVER try that so I wouldnt know and I doubt any one else has because its very odd. So I doubt you will get any actualy personal feedback on this. But I woudl lean towards no anyways.

No, If anything it may hinder the effects. For one when you exercise other larger muscle groups it has a synergistic effect over the entire body. The basic mechanism has to do with more release of growth inducing factors like Serum GH and IGF to name a few. Secondly you induce a stress on the body that actually causes muscle to change thier day to day activities by expressing genes that are normally not expressed until conditions of extreme stimulus are present.

But thats if you really wanted to know

Thanks, and yeah I really did want to know :P
I had a feeling there'd by some synergistic link between excercising the rest of the muscles, just wasn't sure.
Cheers :P

From the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be a lot dumber than it was.

With ot without AS if you only trained one body part with an isolation excercise then it would grow and leave the rest of the body behind but only to a point. The body would adapt after a while and growth would slow down. This would ***end on many factors, genetics being just one. Just check out the BBers who have obviously spent too much time training there "favourite" body parts. Big arms and chest and little legs springs to mind. AS would most likely enhance this situation.

here is another angle to look at it... let say it wasn't forearms and it was chest/bench... because a lot of kids think that is all there is to lifting... you only lifted chest every four days.....well your shoulders and triceps play a big part in the movement so if you don't build those up also, you won't maximize your gains on that other group.... sure you would move up in size and stregnth some, but even more so if you implemented the other muscle groups because you would be able to move up with even more weights on the chest because of those other groups, then if you just focused on that one particular exercise...
this is true without aas... so it is probably more so with aas involved in the training. I can feel my bench go down a little if I miss shoulders a couple of weeks... but overall just about any muscle group is impacted by the other... so just some more food for thought on that subject.... it is always hard to cheat you body. might not really apply to your question, but there are a lot of people that focus on genetically ***rived muscle groups by different focus and concentration methods...

IMO you're wasting your money and time....
If you're going to be running something, and you work out only one body part.... you're wasting potential growth for the rest of yourself.
Get the most out of it.

Question like this just breeds laziness... GOOD!
I'll be big, and the rest will be small!
