    newbie injection question

What's up everyone, I'm new to the forum as well as to using gear. I did my first injection today into my shoulder. When I aspirated, which was a little hard to do, only some bubbles came into the syringe and no blood. Also now when I move my arm around it is painful in my shoulder. I was just wondering if the bubbles and pain is normal and how long before the pain actually goes away? Thanks for any advice.

Pain is normal, you can use an icepack to help w/ pain & swelling. Bubbles are good. Try hitting your upper glut. I prefer glut inj. over shoulder or thighs.
