    Resistence during should injection: Why?

Usually the needle slides in like butter. With delt injections, however, the last two injections - when pushing the needle into the delt, it was sticking. I had to push harder than usual to make it get in there. What's up with that? I'm thinking it may be scar tissue or maybe the delt muscle is a bit denser than say, the glutes? Why? Discuss.

How often are you injecting in your delts? When I first started doing delt shots, I wasn't relaxing my arm enough and it made it harder to insert the needle and would end up more sore after.

It is probably scar tissue from previous injections. This happens to everyone especially in a small area like delts. Also, a view will cause a lot of resistance. Rotate your sites to other body parts. Do you draw with one needle and then swap out to a new needle when injecting?
