syringes and needles from tractor supply

i've ordered some 25g 1" like normal but i ran out the other day. my order should be in next week. but since i'm running prop, i couldnt wait until then. so i went down to tractor supply and got some 3cc syringes and 22g 1" needles. they say for veterinary use only of course.

just did an injection using these (ventrogluteal site). got very light headed. not used to 22g

basically are these just as likely to be as safe/sterile?

I would imagine they are... I always dip my needles in rubbing alcohol before injection, as well as rub the area. 22g are larger than 25g's but nothing to be light headed over. Try 18g for some real fun! Also, i recommend 1 1/2" needles for injecting gluteal

It should specifically say that it is sterilized, look for something about gamma radiation on the packing.

Unless they came out of some plastic jug and weren't wrapped () they were probably sterile. Animals are just as susceptible to infection as we are.

they should be alright. you should have all your stuff before you start your cycle though

ive used them alot never had a problem over the past couple years ive prob used more there than anywhere but im sure it wont be long thatll get shut down lol

Ive read never to try to sterilize a needle with alcohol, that if it has been touched by anything other than what you are injecting to change it.

in pennsylvania even if you go to a wall greens, you have to have a prescription for suringes and needles

dont dip your needles in rubbing alcohol. if they are brand new they're sterile. i wouldnt recommend 18g needles for injections.
