Opening glass amps

Ive got a bucnh of 1cc glass amps and have no clue how i should go about opening them when its time for the shot..... any ideas would be helpful thanks...

i use a stapler to crush the top of the amp breaks it clean every time but make sure you only get the very top or the whole thing will burst.

what I do is I gt a rag of towel and grab the top and just break it off. I saw a doctor do that before and it is like the rag gives leverage

ya i use a paper towel and just snap it cut my hand to many times, oh btw, i was told by a pharmacist the other day to use a needle filter for loading the syringe to filter any glass particles that could of broken off, i never have, but likely will from now on

Yes, this is the clean and easy way. Take a nail file or anything that will score glas and just score a mark at the thin part of the amp. It doesn't have to be big at all. Once you can see the score mare just snap it over with your fingers. Piece of cake!

i use the wrapper from a alcohol pad and put the top of the amp in it and break the top, ive never scored an amp. ***ends on what type i guess. i empty the amp and discard inside the wrapper.

then take a rage and break be carefule so you don't have any glass peices in the acutual amp.

I've always used a cotton swab with alcohol on it. They don't require much effort to snap off in a single piece. Just stay off the clen while you are doing it. Having the shakes would be a good routine for either drawing blood or dumping the contents of the amp onto the floor.

i always score mine with a pair of sissors and snap it off with a pen cap.

i use a knife and saw it down for a second then it just pops off when i apply a little pressure.

wrap the tip in a paper towel, hold the amp in one hand, and with the thumb and index finger on your other hand, just kinda snap it off. works for me.

i found it a little time consuming when i started out,untill i got an amp snapper in my needle exchange,there just the business,picture having 2 pencil sharpners facing each other,and u open both sides up so u can slip youre amp inside,face the dot of the amp upwards and close the sides back down and snap it open,simple 5 secs compared to the 5mins i was spending filing and snapping.if you have any trouble PM me and ill post one out to you bro,no proplems

It would have to be some microscopic glass pieces I'd guess. Possible? Maybe! But not likely!
