Proviron users and supporters, help me out with this.

I was surfing around just now looking for some info on Proviron, as i've been thinking of using it as an AI during and after a cycle.

Then I found this discussion:

There are those saying that it's an extremely poor AI. I of course understand that Proviron as an AI is nowhere close to the capabilities of Letro or Arimidex. But I hear from one group of people that Proviron is an excellent AI and is decent for use as a during-cycle AI. And then I hear from another group of people that it's a shitty AI (like that thread link I listed above).

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I don't like Proviron as my primary defense when using compounds that aromatize heavily. However, I think it is great during PCT, especially for libido.

its not the best ai,it will help you drop some water weight get a somwhat harder
muscle and help to prevent some minor gino it should not replace some of the better more effective chem that are available i use it i like it but at the 1st sign of sore tittys im on nolvadex

i have read it can be used to free up the test in your system.... therefore yielding better gains throughout the cycle... also can aid in dropping bf when used with test... and if it also help a little to combat gyno then i would say it must be a great addition toa cycle but i have never used it so i cant talk from experiance!

Itr does work, to what extreme, well dosage and how much of a estrogen problem you have. Now as far as me, I get hit hard with estrogen all the time, test dosage increases, little bits of hcg. A few months ago I had insane gyno, I couldnt even wear a seat belt so I ran letro for a week, destroyed my libido but the I also added 50 mgs of proviron so when I stopped the letro I had a little something to help keep the estrogen from rebounding, so far it worked well. It also helped bring my libido back up to par and all around seems to be another little piece to completing the puzzle of what compounds to mix to create the best synergy you can. I definitly recommend proviron for every cycle .

I run it every cycle and pct.
I would only run it as my primary AI if I was running compounds that aromatize only slightly (EQ or DECA), or running low dosages of aromating aas.
It has many positive features, like blocking shbg, maintaining libido, some AI properties and increased muscle hardness (though not as noticeable as with winny or masteron).

I'm running NPP and Proviron 100mg ed, No test. I get hit bad with estro when I use test so this is an experiment cycle. I'm in my 4th week, My sex drive has increased dramatically. I did get a little bloat in the face so I started l/dex and it settled down in less than a week. Continued with 0.2mg ed, l/dex. I don't think Proviron has worked as an AI for me because of the bloat. I guess it might be too soon to judge whether proviron has prevented shut down for me. First time I'v run NPP. I don't know if 4 weeks in is long enough to know. I'm running hcg for 3 weeks @ 250ius ed and finnishing 1 week before P.C.T. Last cycle I ran proviron along side var, test being the primary for a cutting cycle and I was very cut and lean, it was insane. I love proviron. I'm using it in every cycle from now on.
