    advise from gear gods

I will try and make this short but to the point, as not to take up y'alls precious time and advice. I have a 21yo male assistant who plays college tennis, has one year of play left. He thinks by juicing he can move up on the team(impress the coach) and hopefully gain a slight edge to climb the satelite level and then move up in the pros. I told him he was to young to think of doing it and that he should just work harder and refine his game(use his brain). I also told him to research AAS's, so he could see that it wasn't some type of game. I even suggested he check out **sciences legal stuff. He is being persistant and I don't want to give up on him. Any advise or direction or am I overstepping my boundaries?

Definately guide him to stay away from hormonal steroids.

There are LOTS of suppliments available to help him, while not causing problems down the road. Assuming his diet is in check, and he's already supplimenting with multivitamin and protien shakes, I'd suggest creatine. It'll help build strenght, yet won't cause any effects on the hormones.

Cutting down his fat could help too, maybe use a thermo to loose acouple lbs of fat first, then focus on building more muscle.

At his age, his natural test levels are extreamly high, and there is not much of a use in running a cycle (especially considering the side effects of doing so at such a young age)

I had heard creatine caused some diuretic effects and dehydration. Wrong info.? Thanks for all the help.

Creatine always worked fine for me. But, it does use more water, so you need to make sure he is drinking plenty. If he takes creatine, but does not drink enough water, it will dehydrate him, and it will cause tightness in his kidneys (because using creatine without water makes the kidneys strain and work harder)
