Is it true that steroids that put on muscle quickly produce more of a softer muscle compared to steroids that take time to put on muscle? Someone was telling me steroids that put on muscle slowly put on harder muscle. Is this true?

The softness is cause by excess water retention.
There are certain aas that give muscles that hard look. Water and fat can give it a softer look.
Muscle hardness will ***end on the compound your using. I know Test can give you pretty good hardness to your muscles but if you want to feel like your Colossus from X-men you could do a high dose of Masteron.
yeah most of the "cutting" type steroids will give u a harder look, because they don't aromatize so there for your gains are leaner and u have that harder look.
This is incorrect. What cutting steroids are you referring to? Winstrol, Trenbolone, etc etc all aromatize. They are progesterone derived and therefore will convert to prolactin/progesterone. There is no reason that they would give a 'harder look' because they dont aromatize. I believe you're trying to say that if you use a compound which you retain less water on (which is ester ***endant), then you look leaner. This is true, but your gains are not 'leaner' because of the steroid you selected to run, that would really be diet ***endent. You're under the impression that one gives leaner gains because you're not retaining as much water while on the cycle, when in fact once you start into your PCT there is no reason your gains should not be 'as lean' if using a compound which has a higher affinity for causing adema.Originally Posted by jaysunderstudy
Hard Muscles!
Muscle hardness or a lack thereof can be related to several variables. However some reasons (not exhaustive) for a soft or bloated appearance are actual bf level, improper dieting/cardio, aroma/lack of the proper AI product, sodium intake, and insufficient water consumption.
