How do u transfer sachets to vails?

hey folks, what's the safest way to transfer sachet's content into an empty vail. I'm asking this question because I ihave heard of serious contamination problem with transferring the liquid(oil) from one conatainer to another and I trying to avoid that I don't happen to me.

I just drew it from the satchet and then ***osited it in the vial. I used gloves and alcohol swabed every thing the pin would come in contact with. Havent had any probs yet. but i wish i could make it more sanitary I hate thinking its contaminated it drives me crazy!

Chances are that sachet that its in wasnt sanitary to begin with.

what guru said. use an 18g needle to do all the drawing with. i used a 22g and my hand started craping cause it was taking so damn long and i started kinda fumbling around. tell me is the 18g works for ya.

If you are really worried about sterility I would suggest filtering through a .22 micron Whatman filter. It is only about $5 for some peace of mind.

Excellent thing to do for sure. I would let the stuff sit for a week or so too, just incase anything was left over the BA would kill it.

pl'se explain this filtering concept once again, what's .22 micron whatman filter? How do u use it?

the filter looks just like a needle but it has a filter in it i wash everything with alchohol i get my vial ready and i have all the satchets laying on somthing clean i use an 18 gauge needle to draw the oil its so much easier than with a smaller needle ,i also use a huge 30ml syringe you can get them from here that way 1 you get all the oil in 1 syringe cap and remove the needle twist on the filter and jab it into your vial then sqeeze for about 20minutes or use a caulking gun ive had no problems as yet and im about 5 wks in my cycle
