Local man indicted by federal government for attempting to deal steroids

A local man has been indicted by the federal government with attempting to deal steroids.

Christopher Coyle, no age or address available, was allegedly attempting to have testosterone shipped to him from Pakistan.

The FBI, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency seized a package sent to the U.S. Postal Office in Pittston. The package was opened May 10 by federal investigators and 250 vials of injectable steroids was discovered. The package was re-sealed without the steroids and delivered to the address on the label.

More than an hour later, Coyle allegedly arrived at the location, which federal authorities did not disclose, and retrieved the package. He was immediately taken into custody.

In a subsequent search of Coyle’s residence, federal investigators say they recovered numerous other injectable vials and information relating to a May 7 shipment from Pakistan.

Investigators charged Coyle with attempt to distribute the steroids. Coyle’s next scheduled court appearance is May 23 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Blewitt.

My quess is they would have just issued a seizure letter had it been just 10 vials. What I get from this is do not deal. The penalties and risk for dealing simply is not worth it, not for me. I keep nothing more than personal, I would never even give a friend any.

If they removed the steroids what did they arrest him for? Not possession. Just because a package is addressed to you isn't proof that you ordered it.

Best thing to do is to never order more than 2 cycles worth of gear. Anymore than that will appear to be a dealer. 2 cycles of gear or less you will probably just get the seizure letter.

The shipper was stupid for sending 250 vials. FOr the most part, these international shippers are complete dumb a--! The boxes they use and the way the address them makes them very suspicious. Why they don't ship in a good solid box and avoid the post office is beyond me. IF they charged, say, $30 for shipping, but it would come UPS, FedEx or DHL and NEVER BE OPENED and TRACKABLE - wouldn't that be a better way to go? Hell yes, but most won't. I am on a rant because these guys are costing us money and potential fines! Some are going to jail. It ALL could be avoided if the shit was packaged right, looked professional and was shipped via a MAJOR CARRIER and not the US FEDERAL CUSTOMS POST OFFICE!

Update:
They were looking into alot more then AS w/ this clown. AS was just a side for him...
They busted several of his friends including one guy were they pulled over 200k out of his wall.
Anyway...They're all in jail were they belong, probably for along time too since they'll be 2 time losers.

By all means, the internattional shipper is very smart. 250 vials of say 200mg/ml test enan or cyp, each worth about $5 street price would be a nice $1,250 of gross revenue. Its the person buying that is stupid, the shipper most likely is happy to take his money knowing that if customs nab him, he is safe and the person receiving will most likely get screwed... Yes, teh way they ship it is dumb, but it really isnt their problem. Firstly, nobody in their right mind should order that amount unless you really trust the source anyway.

Secondly, since its his problem if he gets caught, he should have made sure that order was done in smaller parts, mailed individually in several packages, and done discreetly. If that happened, he may never have got caught, or simply may have gone down for personal use if he customs only caught part of the order... You have to use your brain, when its a small order then risks are ok, but when were talkin about over $1000 (possibly doubt that) of gear, you would think people would think before they give their money over to some random dealer in ANOTHER COUNTRY...
