    how many times can whatmans be used.

    hey im new to homebrewing and am a little unclear about the whatman filters.can u use one filter to filter different oils or do u have to use a new one or every new oil.and also how many mls do u usually get out of one til it should be thrown away.thanks

    you can use one filter for different mixes but you'll have a little of the first in the second mix. number of mills per filter will ***end on concentration of mix. w/ 250mg/ml mix you can get at least 180ml thru one filter.

    i'm kind of paranoid so i only use about 100ml per filter for both 250 and 300mg/ml mixes, but i don't think you would have any problems going up to 200ml per filter. most people recommend .22 micron filters, but i don't have the patience for them so i use .45s with a caulking gun.

    I would only use it once, I mean it's so cheap to get more........IMO
