    Estrogen does what?

    Hey Bros,

Just when I thought I knew a bunch, I find out I don't. I just read in a thread that estrogen is needed to keep your sex drive. Is this true? Someone in another thread said that estrogen was needed to keep gains. Is this true?

I always thought that estrogen was important to keep for cardiovascular reasons. But keep it low to reduce water retention, bloating and gyno.

I appreciate a few good solid replys on the role of estrogen during and after cycle.

    Thanks!

You body has a natural balance of hormones...one of which is estrogen. When this balance is altered, cetain side effects occur.

Too much, you get bloat, gyno, etc. Too little and you get immune system probs, libido issues, etc.

Estrogen is necessary for proper cognitive function, immune function, joint and bone health, libido, etc, etc, etc...

Basically you never want to lower it below physiological levels unless necessary.
