Storing Inject Advice

I came across some that my roommate transferred from the vile to the syringe, don't ask me why...I guess for convenience. Anyway there are about 6 needles ready to go that he's not going to use and I might as well use them on my next go-round. I know it MAY be less potent, but does anyone know if there could be any harmful side effects to storing it in this manner for several months?

yes, it could be harmful. i wouldn't worry about potentcy as much as i would sterility.

I would worry about injecting plastic and toxins because of the solvents breaking down particles from the pin...

yes I agree, I think you run higher risk of obtaining an infection, and if there are only a few why make a chance?

I'd be careful with that. You have no idea the breakdown that has occured. How it was stored, temp, condition things like that. Don't do it.

i've done it. usually only 2 weeks worth at a time. as long as everthing was kept sterile and you put the plastic cap back on the needle then he should be fine.

Suppose it just seems pointless to me. But in his case he said it had been several months, which is different than a couple weeks according to the posters above us.

personally i wouldnt use them, but a have read threads on here where some people will pull a months worth at a time.

What is the point of that? Just curious. Seems like if it was a bigger vial you could just transfer to a smaller vial which would be better I would think....
