why didnt you taper off?Originally Posted by nbkandrew13
dr told me he was dropping me if i didnt stop immediately why do you think its way better to taper
tapering doesn't allow your thyroid to recover, it doesnt do so until there is no synthetic t3 in your system, so tapering off is pointless.
Tapering up is worthwhile to gauge sides however
yeah i was taking to much 150 to 200 mcg a day 5 days a week
^thats the problem.
you on cycle? cuz u musta been losing muscle at that dose even on cycle i'd imagine, off cycle you'd have been shrinking
no on cycle 700 mg supertest, 300 mg whinny, 600 mg eg, spaced out through the week
why so high?.. did you taper up atleast? this thread is kind of weird... like you post this:Originally Posted by nbkandrew13
and thats it?!? for those of us who take T3 a post like this^^ brings interest and calls attention, yet you give absolutely no detail as to your doses, medical problems, nothing.. its like we have to beat the info out of you..Originally Posted by nbkandrew13
sorry bro i was having racing heartbeat 125-130 rbpm, and i totelly blanked on the wahy yes i tapered up i just didnt take my temp enuff or any of that my add was acting up i was just taking way to much
i read that it should never be stopped abruptly. as slowly as the dosage was raised it should be lowered. taking too high of dosage or for too long can result in permanent thyroid deficiency.Originally Posted by nbkandrew13

i read that too problem is every book has a different answer
the question is who gave you the info to exceed 100mcg?
me bro im the idiot that did that everything ive read said not to exceed 100 mcg
its cool bro... we all make mistakes and some of us have to learn things the hard way (like myselfOriginally Posted by nbkandrew13
)... most important thing is your health.. so if you gained a few pounds after dropping the t3, who cares! it couldve been much worse. good luck bro
cardiologists specialize in heart issues, do they also specialize in thyroids? Did he indicate whether or not he thought your tyroid will fully recover or how long it would take? will you gain weight until it recovers?
well the intial family dr caught it because of my racing heart he sent me to cardiologist for tests, who is sending me to a endocrinoligist
