Convert mg to I.U. (yes) - PLEASE HELP
I'm in a tough spot right here I just flew out thinking I had the right pins for my 5 days on vacation. I'm on test prop/tren at 100mg/75mg ED with vial concentration of 100mg/ml in a 10ml vial.
Situation is, I packed insulin pins by mistake so I have 29G 1/2" needles with 50 IU syringes. Now, I know I would have to find the mg concentration for test prop and tren... it will say something like .506 mg test prop for every 1 IU or something. Does anybody know where this info is online?
Option B would be to try to get other pins but I don't think Walgreens carries reg pins, only insulin. These shots need to be taken ED and by the time I ordered pins online it would get here too late.
I like option A of converting better.
Any advice?

You dont need to convert at all. You have 1/2 cc syringes. Thats all the info you need right there. You dont need anything else.

I'd be more worried about drawing and injecting through that small of a pin. If the Test/Tren has EO in it, you might be fine though.

29g, that is going to take forever to load, if it even fits

Try a "MOM & POP" Drug store. Most towns have them, and they will sell anything to pay the bills. Around here the small ones will sell pins when the big stores have a moral issue with selling them.

As someone just said, you can not convert IU to mg. an IU is a measurement of 1 dose that creates a therapuetic effect. An IU of insulin , is not the same as an IU of another drug, say Heparin. There is no rhyme or reason when trying to compare it to concentration or mg dosaging.
With that, like he also said, a 50IU insulin syringe is the same as a 1/2cc syringe.Last edited by newbrew; 06-28-2007 at 08:27 PM.

Go to Walgreens. If they ask what you want it for, tell them that the kit for your wife's hcg did not have syringes and pins. Look embarassed and tell them she is doing fertility drugs...
Bottomline is they almost never give a $hit and if they do, the wife story works every time.
