    Problem mid-cycle

I feel a sharp, sting-like pain in my left lat but only when strech it, between my shoulder blade and lat.....it only stings when I strech it but not when I work out....

I suposse its just a slight pull....

What can I do to make it heal faster? Resting is out of the question since i'm mid cycle and I only feel it when I stretch (hands over my head and lean to the back and sides....) thanks.....

I have a similar twinge in my delt when doing lateral raises. It all depends on the amount of discomfort.....you certainly do not want it to become a tear or something that will prevent you from working your back. I tend to go lighter and move more blood into the sore area. I would avoid heavy lifts. Also, reduce a set or two. Eventually, it should heal unless there is something more serious happening. Good luck.

Maybe you back could have sliped out. When my back slips out I get a pain in my hip. Just my to cents.
