Poked left quad, some came out? :S

Hey, I just injected my 250mg on test eth, in left quad.. but, I have a feeling some may have come out of the muscle as i pulled the needle out, judging by the residue on my cotton pad... :S I always rub with alcohol first but allow it to try mostly, just a bit worried that I lost some test when I pulled out, dont really want to be underdosing as its 2nd week only...

Would you inject a little into glute, like 1/2 ml or so... any opinions? kinda need it tonight if possible, let me know what you'd do

don't inject more....next time pull the skin back before you inject making the skin tighter, then when you're done injecting and the needle comes out, the skin will cover the hole not allowing the compound to come out.

some leaking is normal bro, it makes me sick when it happens.

also try holding the pin in longer and not pulling out (10-15sec.), allowing the oil to "soak" in a little

that happens from time to time specialy with smaller needles in the smaller muscles but the actual amount that comes out is very small and insignificant to ur overall dose

Isn't that called zigzag injecting or something?

What is the proper way of doing that? Pull the skin to the side, then inject, then when you pull the needle out, release the skin back to normal?

its actually the z-track method, here's some info:

Z-track injection is a method of injecting medication into a large muscle using a needle and syringe. This method seals the medication deeply within the muscle and allows no exit path back into the subcutaneous tissue and skin. This is accomplished by displacing the skin and subcutaneous tissue laterally, prior to injection and releasing the tissue immediately after the injection.

I use the Z-track on my quad and pec shots. Those are the only places that I have enough dexterity to displace the skin and inject, works great. I have been getting a little leakage on my glute and delt shots, must be because my oil is so thin (50% EO, 25% Guiacol). I'm not too woriied about the lost amount, it is pretty minor. You can always add a little to the syringe next time to make up for it.
