    Oil and Aspiration?

    Hi,

I started my first cycle yesterday and injected Test-E in my glute last night.I noticed when I aspirated though that the space created between the oil and the empty part of the syringe to check for aspiration has a air bubble in it!? is it ok to still inject if this is the case? and if not how do you remove the air bubble without taking out the syringe.

    Thank's

It wouldn't do any harm if its only a small bubble as i believe that it takes a large amount of air to cause any harm. But try to get them out if you can.

its common to get a bubble during aspiration. just remember youre pulling back just enough to make sure no blood comes into the syringe.

It is ok, this is exactly what you are trying to do... prove you are not in a vein.

Takes a lot more air than you could aspirate into a syring to hurt you.

If you needle is tight (no leaks)..when you aspirate ..it forms a vacuum bubble. It is not air....safe to inject.

You could simulate it by occluding a syringe (without a needle) and pulling back on the plunger...No air is getting in there but there is a space created. Vacuum !!

Also, its IM not IV, and ur body will absorb it, instead of taking it to your lungs.

I injected 3/4 of a cc of air into my ass by mystake, didn't purge the syringe before injecting (I know real dumb) and I just can't see what's going on back there very well. Once I realized what I had done I though I was about to win a darwin award and die, nothing happened.

one other thing, it's much easier to pull back the plunger when you hit a blood vessel, and you will definitely see the blood starting to fill the syringe.

extremely true.... doing ass shots i told my buddy to aspirate so he did and he barely pulled back and filled up about .4 cc of blood very quickly.
